UPCOMING OR ONGOING CHALLENGES
JULY 19, 2025
33.72 Miles of Grit and Purpose
On July 19, 2025, I completed 33.72 miles in the 8-hour Dream Endurance Race. Midway through, lightning and storms forced a 90-minute delay—but I came back out and faced a brutal, muddy hill for the final two hours. Every step was a battle, but also a reminder: I’ve been through worse.
From the depths of addiction to running ultras and sharing my story on stage, I’ve learned that true recovery isn’t just about staying clean—it’s about pushing boundaries and showing others what’s possible. I don’t just speak about resilience. I live it.

Brent challenged himself to build a 50-day streak, adding an additional pull-up to his workout each day. When he met his goal, instead of quitting, he doubled it. He's continued this challenge for over a year, but he's still counting.
